This version of the Dodeca Framework uses the .NET Framework, version 2.0, Service Pack 1 and higher on the desktop. The components used in this version of Dodeca are SpreadsheetGear 2012 (7.0.5.140), NetAdvantage 2011, Volume 1 (11.1.20111.2042), Aspose.Cells 8.2.0.0, Syncfusion Essential Studio 11.3035.0.30, and GdPicture.NET 10.2.0.30.

This version of Dodeca has two server-side services that run inside a Java Application Server. The Dodeca service is supported and tested on Java 1.6. The Dodeca-Essbase service for all Essbase versions prior to, and including, Essbase 11.1.1.3 are supported and tested on Java 1.5. The Dodeca-Essbase service for all Essbase versions 11.1.1.4 and higher are supported and tested on Java 1.6. Both services are known to run on Java 1.7, although extensive testing has not been performed on that Java version.

Authentication Services

Fixes an issue that was introduced in Version 6.7.6.4528 when the RolesRequiredForStartup property was added. With this addition, the AllowStartupForUserAssignedNoRoles property was not being applied correctly. (#1314)

Excel and Essbase Excel View Wizards

For the Essbase Excel View Wizard, several of the default property values were changed to values that are typically used: UseAliases = True, the RetrievePolicy = RetrieveRanges, EssProperties.MissingTextString = 0, SendPolicy = SendRanges, and EssProperties.SendZerosAsMissing = True. (#1316)
For the Excel View Wizard, the default setting for AutoBuildOnOpen was changed to True. (#1317)

Sign On and Set Active Essbase Connection

Fixes an issue in the Sign On and Set Active Essbase Connection tool: When a connection is activated, and then different credentials are entered and the Sign On button is clicked, the hierarchy of servers, applications and databases is refreshed, but the previously active database cannot be activated again until after a different database is activated. (#1319)

View sharing

Fixes an issue that was introduced in Version 6.7.9.4567. When attempting to share a view or delete a metadata instance, the following error is encountered when the metadata repository database is SQL Server: Invalid column name "Tenant". For other databases, a different error message may be displayed. (#1315)

Workbook Script

Fixes an issue with the following Workbook Script functions: EssbaseDatabaseNote, EssConnectionPropertyValue, MemberRelatedMembers, MemberInfo, and SubstitutionVariable
When any of these functions is used in a non-Essbase view, the following error is generated: "The client service object type "EssbaseLoginService" settings do not exist. Verify that the object type configuration contains the appropriate ClientServiceObjectTypes settings." (#1318)
