The supported versions of Excel include the following: Excel 2010, Excel 2013,
and Excel 2016. Although not explicitly supported, there are currently no known
issues when using the add-in with Excel 2007.
The supported versions of Essbase include 9.3.0 and higher.
This release contains the following changes:
Essbase Retrieve Operation
- Fixed Issue: Beginning with the 7.2.0.5810 release, a very large retrieve
operation with data cell values on the sheet can fail due to the size of the
request. #2303
- Fixed Issue: The ability to perform a standard retrieve (or send) operation on
a named range was included in the 7.7.0.6870 release. When a user attempts to perform
a retrieve (or send) operation on a partially selected named retrieve (or send)
range, the operation is not performed and there is no indication of this to the
user. In the 7.7.1 release, a user is able to perform a standard retrieve (or send)
operation on a partially selected named range. #2310
- Fixed Issue: When a standard retrieve is performed on a sheet containing both
auto-filtering and row groups, previously collapsed groups are expanded after the
retrieve. #2326
- Fixed Issue: Fine-grained sheet protection options are not retained after a
standard retrieve operation. For example, when a sheet is protected and auto-filtering
is allowed, the ability to auto-filter is not allowed after the retrieve. #2327
- Fixed Issue: When Strict Mode is enabled and an unknown member exists, performing
a retrieve followed by a send operation results in a given unknown member, which
is not associated with a cell, appearing twice in the Unknown Members task pane.
