Dodeca Version 6.7.2
March 28, 2014 - Build 4363
This version of the Dodeca Framework uses the .NET Framework, version 2.0, Service Pack 1 and higher on the desktop. The components used in this version of Dodeca are SpreadsheetGear 2012 (188.8.131.52), NetAdvantage 2011, Volume 1 (11.1.20111.2042), Aspose.Cells 184.108.40.206, and Syncfusion Essential Studio 220.127.116.11.
This version of Dodeca has two server-side services that run inside a Java Application Server. The Dodeca service is supported and tested on Java 1.6. The Dodeca-Essbase service for all Essbase versions prior to, and including, Essbase 18.104.22.168 are supported and tested on Java 1.5. The Dodeca-Essbase service for all Essbase versions 22.214.171.124 and higher are supported and tested on Java 1.6. Both services are known to run on Java 1.7, although extensive testing has not been performed on that Java version.
This release addresses an issue introduced in the 126.96.36.19940 version, which was related to the changes made to allow multiple clients to add and delete metadata instances of the same type while also ensuring that the other clients are able see the changes in metadata instance dropdown lists and metadata selector dialogs. (#1267)
The following issues have also been addressed:
Essbase Options Issue — Error encountered when an Alias Table option setting that was cached for an Essbase connection associated with a given view is attempted to be used for a view that uses a different Essbase connection for which the alias table is not valid. (#789)
SQLPassthroughDataSet Metadata Editor — The Query Editor has been modified to set the default name of a newly added query to DataTableName<x>, where <x> is a sequential numeric identifier, such as DataTableName1, DataTableName2, etc., based on the existing DataTableName values. (#1276)
Selector Combo and Essbase Selector Combo — Fixed issue with the default selection appearing in the dropdown list twice, which occurs when a workbook script clears a default selection, using the SetSelector/Clear method/overload, before the dropdown list is actually populated (i.e. before the user clicks the dropdown arrow.) (#1277)
