Excel Add-In Version 7.0.1

The supported versions of Excel include the following: Excel 2010, Excel 2013, and Excel 2016. Although not explicitly supported, there are currently no known issues when using the add-in with Excel 2007.

The supported versions of Essbase include 9.3.0 and higher.

This release contains the following fixes:

  • Fixed Issue: The wait cursor is not displayed when a zoom operation is initiated by double-clicking the primary mouse button. #1460

  • Fixed issue: When the Connect to Essbase task pane is open, and a connection is selected from the Recent ribbon dropdown menu, and the connection’s associated server is specified as an http address, such as:

    http://server11124007:13080/aps/Essbase?ClusterName=EssbaseCluster-1, then an error similar to the following occurs:

    Unable to set the active connection to “http://server11124007:13080/aps/Essbase?ClusterName=EssbaseCluster-1”. The server “http:” was not found in the server/app/database tree. #1487

  • Fixed Issue: When Linked Object Browsing is enabled, the following error occurs when a data cell is double clicked: Unable to drill-through. Unable to get the Linked Objects Browser. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. #1488
