Excel Add-In Version 7.4.1

The supported versions of Excel include the following: Excel 2010, Excel 2013, and Excel 2016. Although not explicitly supported, there are currently no known issues when using the add-in with Excel 2007.

The supported versions of Essbase include 9.3.0 and higher.

This release contains the following fixes:

Global Settings – When the version of the add-in is updated on a client machine, the global cached settings, such as the Mouse and Status Bar settings, are lost and revert to the default values configured for the deployment. #1902

CSV Files – In Excel 2010, all the ribbon controls are grayed out when a CSV file is opened. In Excel 2013/2016, the ribbon controls are not grayed out when a CSV is initially opened, but become grayed out when the same CSV is closed/reopened, or another CSV is opened. While this issue has been addressed, it should also be noted that the Undo/Redo Enabled, and other Undo/Redo controls, are disabled for a CSV file, since this functionality is not supported for a CSV file. #1900

Essbase Send – When the locale of the client machine is de-CH, the Essbase Send operation does not work correctly when numeric member names are included. #1903

Installation – Although only a single deployment of the Dodeca Excel Add-In for Essbase can be installed, multiple versions of the product may appear in Windows Add/Remove programs. #1901
