Excel Add-In Version 8.4.0

The supported versions of Excel include the following: Excel 2013, Excel 2016, Excel 2019, Excel 2021, and Microsoft 365 Excel for Windows Desktop.

The supported versions of Essbase include 9.3.0 and higher.

This release contains the following changes:

Configuration Metadata

  • In Dodeca 8.4.0 and higher, any ExcelAddInConfiguration metadata used to configure the Dodeca Excel Add-In is cached on the client workstation at launch for subsequent use. This prevents the add-in from launching in an unconfigured state when the end-user is offline or the metadata service is otherwise unreachable. #3574
